Brandon Bitsuie is a member of the Tribal Nations practice, where he focuses on litigation, business transactions, employment law, and energy development. He regularly works with tribal nations, tribal enterprises, business developers, and energy developers. As a member of the Navajo Nation, Brandon not only brings specific expertise in Navajo Nation laws but is also adept at bridging the cultural and business complexities often found in Indian Country.
Prior to Drummond Woodsum, Brandon was an Assistant District Attorney for the State of New Mexico, prosecuting misdemeanor crimes. He then became an Attorney for the Navajo Nation and worked on issues related to employment and litigation. He then became a prosecutor prosecuting crimes in the Navajo Nation. Brandon then went to work for the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority, a tribal enterprise, where he worked on business transactions, contracts, rights-of-way, federal grants, and utility-scale solar developments.
