Drummond Woodsum Tribal Nations Attorneys Featured at 2025 Tribal Leadership Conference

Drummond Woodsum is proud to announce that attorneys Michael-Corey Hinton and Erick Giles of the firm’s Tribal Nations Practice Group were featured speakers at the 2025 Tribal Leadership Conference, held June 23–26 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Michael-Corey Hinton, Practice Group Co-Leader, moderated two high-profile panels: “Understanding the Role of Tribal Council, Board of Directors, and Management” and “Preparing for the Future of Climate Change.” These sessions brought together influential tribal leaders and experts to discuss systems of tribal management and proactive climate strategies affecting Native communities nationwide.

Attorney Erick Giles spoke on the panel “Which Business Structure is Right?” alongside fellow legal and tribal governance leaders, providing insight into legal structures that support sustainable tribal enterprise growth.

The Tribal Leadership Conference, hosted by the Tribal Leadership Council, brings together tribal leaders, attorneys, and executives to share knowledge and strengthen tribal governance and sovereignty.
