About

Jordan T. Quenneville represents public school districts in a wide array of legal issues, including special education and disability law, student rights, student discipline, and Title IX issues.

Before joining Drummond Woodsum, Jordan honed her skills as a litigator at a boutique law firm. Her experience defending people accused of crimes in State and Federal court, working on complex civil rights cases, and handling family matters, showcases her adaptability and competence. As a current panelist of the Criminal Justice Act for the United States District Court, District of Maine, Jordan continues to demonstrate her versatility by accepting federally appointed criminal cases in which she represents indigent defendants.

As a law student at the University of Maine School of Law, Jordan was a teaching assistant for the Legal Research & Writing program, the Head Case Note & Comment Editor of the Maine Law Review, and competed as a part of the Maine Law Moot Court Team. Jordan also practiced as a student attorney for the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office.

Prior to her legal career, Jordan’s background in education, where she was a teacher, advisor, and coach for elementary and high school students, both in public and private settings, laid the foundation for her passion for school law. Her teaching experience not only inspired her to pursue a career in law but also instilled a deep commitment to serving schools.

Jordan was born in Anchorage, Alaska, but spent much of her childhood in Bethel, Maine. She is a tribal member of the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians and now resides in the Mid-coast area with her husband, son, and two pups. She enjoys outdoor adventures and spending time with her family and friends.
